Deskripsi singkat : Semula banteng ini digunakan untuk benteng pertahanan pantai dan markas Belanda dari tahun 1861 s.d 1942. Tahun 1942 s.d 1945 dikuasai Jepang. Tahun 1945 s.d 1950 dikuasai kembali Belanda. Tahun 1952 digunakan oleh tentara RI. Tahun 1962 s.d 1965 sebagai tempat pelatihan RPKAD. Dan tepatnya tanggal 26 November 1986 di pugar oleh CV. Wardoyo sebagai tempat obyek wisata.
